Damn, from one extreme to another. OK, I'll play your game for a minute. Yes, the cop should back up. He should do everything he can to avoid shooting his gun. He should try his taser first. He should try his baton if at all convinced that it may work. In some cases he should withdraw.
However, yes there are times when he should blow the f***er away and not think twice.
Are you adult enough to understand the difference?
Yep, everybody brandishing a screwdriver should immediately be shot. How dare anyone but a trained screwer even dare to handle such a deadly weapon.
Yeah yeah, we are tired of hearing that when it comes to people who shoot cops, so twisting it for this sorry butt argument isn't going to work.
Then he should have tried one, and if he didn't he should probably lose his job. If he didn't try one, but has a good reason, then nothing further should be done.
How about if we stop blindly trusting the police, and start holding them accountable to the same standards everyone else is?
In the past few weeks I have had the pleasure of dealing with about 5 cops, and the misfortune of dealing with a single **** of a cop and another butthole cop-wanna-be. That is pretty good, because if I was black, hispanic, or a teenager, the odds would be about 90% that every one of them would be an butthole-****. Citizens should be accorded the rights that liberals are arguing persons have, yet people like you argue that we should have no rights.
Criminals in this country are supposed to get their day in court once apprehended under appropriate circumstances. That is what protects you, me and my family from **** cop.
You and I have zero recourse through the legal system when it comes to **** cop. Some people in society resort in the only way they know how to, and that is outside the legal system. When cops violate the public's rights, they put every other cop in danger of serious harm or rest because a certain segment of society will not tolerate being harbutted.
