Because, with a certain percentage of people, they are poor or homeless for a reason..... For instance, I gave 10 bucks to a homeless couple the other day (it's all the cash I had in my wallet at the moment) that were hanging around outside our gym. They were both about 17 or 18 years old. Both had been kicked out of their parents homes at age 16.
Why did their families kick them out? Both were rebels and dropped out of high school and did not want to be told what do do anymore.

It was their own faults!
I put up with crap and rules from my parents so I could finish high scool and live rent free while I attended college. Ok, my parents were reasonable and did not treat me like slave labor but I did my share of the chores and worked minimum wage jobs to pay tuition and books.
In other words, I did my time.
I don't understand why more teens can't see that and end up like this couple did?
