No. The cold war was the result of our involvement in WWII. If we had not been in WWII at all; the cold war never happens. We were only in WWII for two reasons. First, we sided with China and boycotted Japan in their war with each other (1930's - 1940's). Japan planted Pearl Harbor so we could not protect Dutch oil; which they needed. They asked us to get out of the China-Japan war 45 days before Pearl Harbor; and our politicians told them to go f*** themselves. Secondly, we got involved on behalf of Europe; against Hitler. The Amerika planter and his other plans against us were in response to our involvement with the Allied Forces. You didn't see him attacking Mexico or Guatemala. He didn't give a f*** about North and Central America until we got involved.

Bin Laden wants to be a power in Middle East. He was against the Saud Royal Family on some issues; and Saudi Arabia kicked him out for it. He does not want to take over anything. He does not want to own North, Central, and South America. He does not want to own Asia. He does not want to own Africa or Australia.

We have 2,500 active nukes, 12,500 inactive nukes, 5 air craft carrier forces, an army of 1.4 million with another 4 million eligible potential draftees, and a manufacturing based country able to build tens of thousands of aircraft within a fortnight. No sane human being thinks USA can possible fall into foreign hands.
Socialism is bad. Get rid of it. Shame on you Democrats for creating these programs. They are so far outside of the US Consbreastution (Article 1 Section 8) and Ammendments that it is almost criminal how Congress doles out cash.
