Scott en Aztl‡n I'll f***ING
How about this: A Yellow Cab (aka Mr. Cab Driver, or MCD) pulled onto SR-163 S in San Diego, CA at the Robinson Street ramp, and at about (estimating) 25-30 mph, MCD swerved across the right lane into my path (in the left lane) where I was doing about 57 mph (in a 55 zone, coming off a curved uphill section.) Fortunately, I drive a lightweight Honda coupe and the lifted Ford F-150 (Big butt Truck, or BAT) behind me was paying enough attention and left enough space to avoid crushing me when I had to slam on my brakes to avoid hitting MCD.
MCD unforunately had a unique Cab # that I reported to his manager by calling the number painted on his car. MCD will now be undergoing some re-training and a road test before he'll be allowed to drive under their name again (or any other in MTS' jurisdiction), and MCD will be on probation for at least 6 months, according to the his boss that I spoke to.
The best part is that I didn't get called back for a few days because both BAT and I both complained, and MCD's manager buttumed both complaints were from the same person until he talked to both Mr BAT and myself, and we both described it exactly the same.
I might not be a cop, but if you're dumb enough to have your boss' phone number on your car and almost cause me to get crushed, be glad if you still have a job in San Diego.
