Advice on situation

Sounds like a capital offence that! Wow, pulling into a taxi rank with because of a sick pbuttenger. Probably more multicultural benifits (a pure guess).

Hi Vis Vests in Europe 164
JD Well, this post from him in the Google Group 'High Visibility Workwear' seems to suggest that... ============= Hello I am (unfortunately) an "expert" in High Visibility Workwear. My website...

OT Many years ago I was going - shall we say VERY fast in a 30 zone in a mean-power 2 seater sports car. I had a female pbuttenger and on her lap was a child - about 8 years old. There was very little if any danger to any other persons as the street was deserted and clear. A police constable appeared from nowhere and held up his hand to stop me. I brought the car to a best-I-could-manage controlled halt and the pbuttenger (my neighbour and the lads mum) wound the window down. The copper leaned in and was about to begin giving me a right bollocking. Then he saw the blood pouring down the face of this child! Some yobs had thown a brick and hit him in the head and he was losing much blood very quickly from this head wound. The copper, by reacton, pulled out a large hankerchief, pressed it to the kids head, told the woman to "keep it pressed there", and me to "get a damn move on" The hospital was only a half a mile away. I raced on and the kid was rushed into A&E. The lack of bullshi* by this copper probably saved that little lads life. Afterwards I drove back (slowly, shaken but not stirred) and the copper was on his way walking up. I stopped and told him what had happened and he took the details. I never heard if they caught the yobs as moved not long after. That was way back in the 60's. Thank God for common sense and a lack of red tape.
