180 miles on AB and only three incidentsHi, Nice run out to and along the coast, with only three incidents. Two of which were within 10 miles of each other. So a reasonably pleasurable day out. 1. An absolute...
Used by the general public only on certain days when the gates are open. Similar to the scenario of a car boot sale in a large field, grbutt parking at a sports event or similar, the track leads to the actual open space where the vehicles parked.
You buttume correctly. I didn't know much about procedure, but I knew they only seem to turn up where someone is injured or if the road is blocked etc.
Thanks - that's precisely what I did, and they were quite happy to do that.
Although it would take more time-effort, I think I'd be quite prepared to go down that route instead. After all, he'd have nothing to sue for?!
That's the only thing that bugs me still - the person behind. They never got out of their car; from their position they had no visibility of the front of my vehicle and the bottom-middle of the rear of his vehicle. That would be quite apparent from the positioning of the vehicles.
It is fully accessible and used by the public on days when it is open, but usually only on a Sunday or Bank Holiday. You do not have to pay to enter the parking area, for example.
I have not done this; at the time I couldn't see any merit in doing so, as other than my pbuttenger (and the witness who appears to be siding with the other driver), there were no independent witnesses. Four days since it happened seems a bit far away to be bothering the police with it.
