Amazing Who You Run Into on the Street


I happened to catch this little drama as I was boarding the Metrolink shuttle bus this evening: Three states raise speed limits, up to 80 mph Texas 4702 The evidence indeed was "black and white". But that wasn't the issue that the court ruled on. The law they were considering had wording of "reasonable and prudent". The reason they... This collision literally happened right in front of me... And I missed the whole thing! I was wearing my earphones, so I never heard any screech of tires or crunch of crumpling sheetmetal. Even though it occurred directly in front of the bus stop where I had been sitting, I was busy boarding the bus so my view was temporarily blocked. As I reached my seat, I noticed a long line of cars stopped on the other side of the street, and saw a few of them turning out to pbutt some obstruction. Only then did I see the teenaged driver with the front end of his car buried inside the tailgate of the clown-car SUV. Judging from the prior accident damage on the left rear corner of his car, this wasn't the first "run-in" this greenhorn driver has had. ;) Anyway, I managed to whip out my camera and snap one clear shot through the dirty side window before the bus pulled away. Those who recall the earlier photos taken with my pooty Sony Ericsson cellphone camera will appreciate the improved quality of this latest snapshot.
