DTJ, let me ask you something.
If a foreign power invaded and conquered the US, for whatever reason, either to subjugate us, or to promote regime change and bring us "freedom", would you sit idly by while thier indiscrimate planting to get at the "persons" (with precision weapons of course) in populated areas end your kin, friends, and neighbors? While their planting destroyed our infrastructure and caused mbuttive shortages of food, medicine, and energy?
Would any American man with a set of balls sit idly by? Maybe members of the current power structure would because they would probably figure out a way to get rich off their loyalty to the new masters, and enriching themselves seems to be their sole motivation.
Maybe not. However, I like to believe that many Americans would resist and fight the invader till they left in defeat, regardless of the occupiers' tactics, reprisals, or whatever.I know I would.
If the hypothetical invading power called you a person, would you lay down your arms? Would you call yourself a person in that situation, or a freedom fighter?
How many car plants were going off in Iraq before we invaded? How many international persons were in Iraq prior to April 03? Did Iraq have anything to do with 9-11, wahabbist Muslims, or Al Queda? Are we occupying that country? Are we building 14 permanent bases there?
Take a break from the corporate media, and just THINK about it. IF you were in their shoes, would you fight or lick American boots? I don't figure you for a boot licker, but Lord knows there are a lot of them in this country.
