First how does Yukon get a YT for the abbr. with no T in the word? Weird. 2nd, do you mean $119 or $1.19? If the later, I hope you're talking 1.19 per LITER not per gallon, or I hate you! It's $2.50-gal her in Kalif***ya. We're the worst in the country (except maybe Hawaii, which nobody cares about because the whole damn island is only 90mi. wide).
We might actually be getting close to that magic number economists say we'll have to get to before any real viable alternative to gasoline is seriously created. Anybody remember what it was? I'm hoping it's $3-gal. But it might have been $4 or $5 :( I don't know why these f***s don't just start making alcohol burning cars. Electric blows because it's still generated the same way, and mbuttive line loss in transport to site of use. Hydrogen blows because it's created with electricity. Natural gas (methane) would be great, but there's the compression issue. No carrying around a gas can in the trunk for emergencies. Methane-Alcohol hybrids would be the best.
BTW, why is it that nobody EVER talks about how bad a giant EM field from an electric motor powerful enough to move a car is for you?
