Mebbe, but sometimes it feels like it could. Last Friday on my way down the M1 at night, some banana brain pulled on to the motorway at a slip road (no use of indicators, one rear light out). Then he started to drift into lane 2 where I was, moving faster than him with a van right up my arse and a car to my right. If he had pulled out he would have caused a shunt, so I flashed my lights to remind him I was there. He dropped back to the left and when I'd pbutted him I pulled back in. Next thing Mr Psycho (an ugly looking f***er) was road-raging away at me, driving up the arse of my car, then overtaking and trying to run me off the road, purple in the face, screaming and spittle-flecked.
After several attempts to intimidate me (failed becuase my car could outbrake his) he simply whanged the wheel over and swerved into lane 3 then buggered off. I was rather glad he did not have a gun.
