I hope you're not lumping me in with them. I'm anything but.
But everyone was driving at 40mph. There was no differential. There may have been some angry, impatient drivers, but as I said if I was behind him I wouldn't have been one of them. Anyone who tailgates or overtakes irresponsibly in that situation is 100% responsible for their own stupid actions without any question.
Imagine that instead of a car doing 40 in a 60, it's a tractor doing a top speed of 40 in a 60. Is the situation any different now that the 'bimbling f***wit' is out the equation? The only difference I can see is that drivers will not feel anger towards the buttumed f***wit and instead feel irritation that they got stuck behind a slow vehicle. In otherwords the problem here is not the fact some drivers are doing 40 when they could be doing 60, but their poor atbreastude towards being in this situation. I am really the only one in this group who is able to detach from such feelings and calmly concentrate on driving?
