Knight Of The Road Now you come to mention it I remember them about mid seventies and the box was a roadranger but Sed-Ak didn't get it together to...

How big does this big queue of traffic have to be, and how long does it have to last for before pulling over to let them pbutt is required? So to answer your question, no, I don't think the police should have pulled him. They should however pull you for driving above the posted limit regardless of whether you reckon it's safe, and they should pull impatient tossers who overtake and cause oncoming traffic to brake quite hard.

So don't do it.

And how does this make them peeed off? Being forced to drive slower than you legally could drive is just part of the rich tapestry of variables that is driving. Why should one part pee you off? And since you're (rightly) a proponent of driving at an appropiate speed for the conditions, why are you not happy to drive at 40 where the conditions, as a result of another driver, dictate that you should? Do you get angry at traffic lights for making you reduce speed?

Well it's tolerated to a degree. It's all a big shade of grey. I'm more inclined to take impatient f***wits to task and give the benefit of the doubt to slower drivers.

I'm sure it tells you everything - that would be entirely within your profile of making sweeping generalisations based on single variables.

Totally different type of gearbox. But yes, I could get a car home without a clutch cable, and have done so in the...

Are they driving Rovers (ref earlier thread)?

I don't focus on a "number on a stick" It's just a legal marker, usually indicative of an appropriate maximum speed. You, however, seem to be obsessed with them and, in particular, your imagined right to go faster than them. I wouldn't agree that slower drivers are "equally dangerous", since if anything they carry less kinetic energy to bury into something than a faster driver.
