This is a political forum, there is nothing wrong in completely missing the point and staying on message! But to answer your pointed amusement. Obviously its wrong for government to get involved when it has better things to do with our taxes. Obviously people in all lines of work can be called upon to take risks for the common good. But also the point of the lawsuit was that the display was offensive. How an atheist could be offended by the rest of a Christian I do not quite get, but it can happen that atheists (like me) do get that people dying to bring law and order to the roads (useless made risky by stupid arse christians) might actually be a good idea to want more christian police to deal with the risky business. But to imagine that in this universe that people would all be treated the same, or that we should bagger government to spend inordinate amounts of money in making sure every worthy soul who every did a good deed gets their fairshare of gravestone is fair fetched. That you could even concieve that as an argument to suggest government cease and desist its crosses policy is stupifying.
