Exactly what has caused the price to go up? It sure isn't the freeing of the Iraqi people that caused it. I would bet that we have rebuilt enough of the Iraqi capabilities in oil products, and that they are offering near the same amount on the global market. There are two issues causing price increases. First, the cartels are keeping supplies low. Second, clinton prevented the building of any new refineries and otherwise led us to where we rely on 100% of our daily output capability from those we have. A hurricane, possibly even a hummingbird fart, causes gas to go up.
