Not only is it untrue to claim that *everything* is in NVR, and that you jsut charge it up and away you go, you are still overlooking the fact that a phone that needs to be kepts constantly on charge just in case the OS decides to go ape (again) is inconvenient and less than useful. In general you can guarantee that the crash-flat battery will happen when you need it. As in the case of the journalist referred to earlier.
What use is your advice to someone trying to make an emergency call?
So a Pocket PC "phone" by your admission is only ever any good if you remain within reach of power, don't mind the daily crash routine and as long as you stay in an area with good reception.
