That car crashed (in the computer sense) on the A1 autostrada because of a WinCE bug, and had to be "rebooted" before it would function again.

This is where M$ beliefs that you can pile flaky applications on top of flaky OS takes us - to real world devices that don't work as well as hard wired or even slightly better conceived devices.

No, I simply don't have my head up my bum. If you like Windows Mobile and can get on with it, fine. But don't try to pretend that it's as robust a solution as the alternatives. It simply is not, it's TAPI on top of an OS and both have problems. No other telephone (with the possible exception of the upcoming Linux phones) works in that arse about face manner.
