no it didn't. you don't realise that I knew that WinCE was a poo OS back then (and still is) but hasn't been in use for donkeys years on a PPC so it's even more irrelevant for you mention that in relation to the tip I gave to the OP
he';s a journo, what do you expect ?
and what does this have to do with using a modern pocket PC as an navigationdevice ? that was years ago, this is now.
whatwould your advice be ? it's a binary decision, call or do not.
hahahahha, yeah, right. either it ran off a battery or you're making it up LOL
who mentioned mains ?
hahaha, that wasyearsago. it was a bug, the bug was fixed.
sure ?
Best portable sat nav 717Conor compact for 2 1-2 years, europe wide, commercially. the one time "it" failed me the failure...
how gracious of you.
I wasn't you're making it up. I offered the OP an alternative to bulky dedicated units. that is all. you've extrapolated an argument out of that simple offer of an alternative.
put simply, it works and you cannot deny that. that it's not to your liking is evident. but that still doesn't affect the operation of pocket PCs, which have been very usable in my actual experience gained over many years. unlike you.
