which one is it ? whaddayagot ? or is this another brimstone situation ?
how strange. I have 2 WM5 devices and neither of them "crash" in the accepted sense of the word.
ah: problem, seek solution, apply soloution, problem fixed. so what ?
do a search for magic button PPC, everyone and their dog knows that application shutdown is a problem in WM devices, that's why someone invented a fix for it, oh, *three* years ago.
Best portable sat nav 720Huge incorrect. hundreds of thousands of people don't have problems with pocket PC's. if you decide to be in the minority of people who do then it's likely that you have not RTFM and, especially...
Best portable sat nav 722Adrian yup, saw them. vastly inferior inferior product to memory map on which I've spent hundreds of pounds. so I'll switch...
now who's sl o o o ow ?
ah, another glaringly obvious flaw with a glaringly obvious fix: well known in the PPC community, activesync is a POS and using a card reader is the best way to use SD and CF cards and cab installer is the best way to install apps.
do you know why you're having problems ? I do, and it's not activesync LOL if you really had a clue you would be looking far, far deeper than the GUI and you would be glancing in the direction of your firewall, if you have one.
I could have them both up and running within 15 minutes. another obvious fix.
I'm sure you would.

from what you have detialed above and what I know I diagnose a clear cut case of user error and failing to RTFM & STFW. if you would like me to help you get connected all you have to do is ask. I'll walk you through it and when you're connected to WAP and GPRS and all your other "issues" are ironed out I'll expect an apology and a pint.
