So scary. 11pm last night on M11 northbound approaching Junction 7. A dark blue car sat on slip road chevrons-island between A414 and M11 trying to get back onto motorway after missing its turn !!! Car was about 90 degrees to motorway but not even sitting still waiting for traffic to pbutt, but moving back and forth like it was about to shoot off at any moment. Most of us forced at very short notice into lanes 2 and 3, but some vehicles could not pull out of lane 1 due to pbutting traffic and had to pbutt this suicidal car in lane one.
I looked up junction on google earth and that car could have got back onto motorway again after going through the interchange. Although the road looks straight on google, no one saw this car until we were within 3-5 seconds away. I glanced in mirrors after pbutting and even the lorries were pulling over at last second, so even their driving position didn't give a better view ahead.
That car was on my mind for the remaining 70 minutes of my journey up the M11-A11 and what could have so easily turned into carnage.
