It isn't about visibility of turn signals. It is about not causing rear-enders either into me or a car or two back who can't see the signals at all.
How about you explaining how pulling off to the right side of the road is dangerous. That is what your non-sensical posts all come down to. Even if they are confused, how does that cause any problems with them driving on past in a clear traffic lane? Any one who is confused when they see a car pull onto the shoulder needs to turn in their license. When I see it, I -might- wonder what the problem is but that is about it.
I suppose you also have a problem with my technique of pulling into my drive from the other direction. Moving 65, flick on right turn signal, light braking to dump about 5mph and pull onto the shoulder, continue slowing until I pull into my drive. On that side I can get clear over the fog line. I suppose that is also confusing as I don't need to pull to the right until I am -at- my drive. By the way, you might check the OP. It is right there. I said I "stop in my neighbors drive" if necessary. Yes, there is a drive there.
