I've had all sorts of vehicles in my life. Some as small as an Austin Healey Sprite and some as large as a Ford Expedition. I've had no problem adapting my driving style to any of them. I've driven a friend's Tahoe and I did not feel it handled like a piece of s#%t. In fact I thoughbreast was far better than the last Toyota I owned (an 80's Cressida) or the last Mazda I owned (an 80's 626). I wouldn't confuse it with a Porsche Boxster, but I've driven cars that were far worse than the Tahoe. I think the worst car I ever drove was a late 60's Plymouth Fury with a 318. To me that defines bad handling. I wish I could drive one again (in good condition) to see if it was as really as bad as I remember it was.

Tahoes aren't particulalry large compared to the full size station wagons of the 70's, so I think your comment about "cartoonishly-proportioned vehicles" is just a silly insult that has no basis in reality. You should be happy with your choice of vehicles and not spend time trying to insult your "friends" choice of vehicles. You sound like a child with an inferiority complex. You know a comment like, "nah, nah, nah, nah - my car is better than your car."
