Can't you read? "If an MOT is performed before the expiry of the previous one, the expiry date is the earlier of 13 months hence and one year from the expiry of the previous one".
If you get two MOTs a day apart, you will get an MOT that expires 13 months from the date of the second MOT. NOT TWO YEARS.
How many times do people have to say this:
NO ONE is asking for an MOT that lasts any longer than 13 months.
I DO. No one has said differently. You are STILL missing the point. Before replying with "No I'm not", please realise that I know what my point is, and your reply proves you don't.
It's a check which must be carried out, according to the law, at least once every 13 months, but may be carried out more often.
If I go out and get an MOT tomorrow (way more than a month before my current one expires), why doesn't it last 13 months? NOTE: I'm not asking for it to last 1 month beyond my current MOTs expiry I'm asking for it to last THIRTEEN MONTHS.
