CAR Hit and Run Subhumanity 5604

Well, the spin on the article certainly tries to apportion a lot... and not one bit of it towards the person who caused it all.

Does it? The Shogun didn't think he'd hit anything (thin), the Jeep didn't stop (very poor), the minibus thought he had run over a bin-bag (nothing wrong there), the girl in the peugeot did stop but panicked (understandable), the last one recognised it as a body but buggered off and didn't report it (very poor).

In fact it could be argued that the worst two were the ones that *didn't* hit him.

That's true, I certainly don't get involved unless it affects me personally. If that makes me a bad person then that's something I am happy to live with.

I'd say it is more to do with the shift from "personal responsibility" to "personal rights", as nurtured by the bleeding heart liberals of this gov't. Maybe it's an odd bastardisation of both?

Yup.

Oh dear, and just when the thread was going so well too. You don't need to examine the vehicle for damage, you can already see the mirror is missing. You still need...
