Car abandoned in my yard

There is no city, because this is a rural home out in farm country. However, I will buttume the county will do the same. I'll call them. At least I got an answer on here. Much better than trying to contact the state D.O.T. Speaking of government being useless, you'll enjoy this one.

I looked on the State D.O.T. website and tried to figure out who to ask. Well, there are about 70 different departments and each has their own phone number. I was already confused. I finally called the one listed as Main Office. I had to push a dozen or more buttons, sit on hold for 5 minutes listen to a bunch fo recordings, and I finally got a person. I explained the story to 4 different people, got transferred and re-transferred, etc, I was paying for the L.D. call, and bu this time getting pretty peeed. I finally got someone again, who said I called the wrong department and I need to call another.

OK, I start all over, got to press a bunch of buttons and finally end up right back where I was earlier. I hung up and decided to email my question. I emailed pretty much the same thing I posted on here. A pretty basic question, or so I thought. Pretty much that there was a junked car left in my yard by tenants that moved out, and my lease states that after they move, anything left behind is mine to dispose, and I am just asking if I can junk this car at a salvage yard, since I have no breastle and the tenants can not be contacted.

Here is the reply I get back (get ready to laugh or maybe cry).

Cyclists are Victims of the Law of the Jungle 4886
It's interesting how cyclists are victims of the Law of the Jungle, and then blamed for being on the predators' way...

--- "Due to the complexity of the question(s) you have asked and given the information you have provided in your message there are a number of Research & Information staff member will be happy to discuss your specific situation and fully answer your question(s).

Please have available, prior to calling: VIN # (vehicle identification number), license plate number or breastle # for the vehicle about which you aren inquiring." ---

Ummmmmmm, complexity???? What the f--k is so complicated to tell me if I can junk a car without a breastle? Then going on to the second paragraph, it says have available the license plate or breastle numbers. I SAID THERE IS NO breastLE !!!! Duh !!!!

Cyclists are Victims of the Law of the Jungle
In Delray Beach we have killing zones, absolute killing zones," said Smith, who walks every day along the road near his oceanfront condominium, the same building where McCurdy collapsed...

And to really add insult to injury, this is the same number I called yesterday, and got nowhere, and it's NOT a toll free number either.

I think those of you who said haul it to the road and leave it there are closest to the solution !!!

Yes, our tax dollars going to good use. (At least good for the idiots that work there and get paid for telling callers they got the wrong department).....
