Why buttociate this only with SUVs? I see more BMWs taking up two spaces that any other vehicles make. Corvettes are in second place. I can't remember the last time I saw an SUV deliberately taking up two spaces, although I was parked next to one last night that was so poorly parked he might as well have taken up two spaces (the car I was in was small and the spaces were big, so it did not really cause me a problem). He had pulled into the space at a funky angle. Most of the vehicle was in the space, but the rear end was just over the line on my side. And I don't really think it was all his fault. There was an old Toyota in the space on the other side of the SUV that was also parked crooked. It seems to me that a lot of people just can't park. The one time I do single out SUV owners is when they try to squeeze one of the large SUVs into the "compact car" spaces at the mall. I don't think an Excursion fits the definition of a compact car (but then neither does an S-Clbutt Mercedes). On the other hand, some people act like Explorers are humungous vehicles, when in fact the older models (pre-2006) take up about the same amount of road space as a Camry..
