They are built for their roads which, as you know, are straight and wide, and when they do have a corner it has traffic lights and it's a 90-degree turn. I wouldn't particularly want to drive one over here.

Cars are hugely aspirational for most people. The car manufacturer is selling people the vision of a certain lifestyle. For many manufacturers this means that they don't always get a fair crack of the whip if people think they're not what they're looking for.

You do know that Merc offer a choice of seats from regular to sport to comfort? Just a matter of finding one you like.
