Well Cheney made 2.x million dollars last year according to the IRS, so that makes him "not poor". I have a funny feeling he made even more than that if you count his Haliburton profits, but why sell those stocks while you're still in the White House and get the media into a tizzy? He'll quietly unload them and take his blood money once he's out and in the clear.
But what you're saying makes sense. If I too had sold myself out to Satan, I'd be looking to serve my master and send as many souls of solider boys to feed the dark side. Thereby increasing my master's power over man.
Thank goodness I was raised a good Christian. So I know that killing and war is wrong and that all those who follow said path are damned for an eternity. That the devil himself comes to you as your friend and minister. He will say exactly what you want to hear and let you hold his warm hand like a friend. And it is with this same hand that he will guide your soul to despair.
But the good lord Jesus made us with a brain. And gave us free will. It is up to us to use our brains and free will to make the right decisions. And following the path of war, rest and evil is never the decision that God wants for us.
