She has the political equivalent to a mind-meld. It's called political capital, and it can go a long way to persuading a legislature to do what she wants. C'mon, this is politics 101, for crying out loud.
Anyway, a "D" or an "R", or God willing, an "L" next to someone's name doesn't really mean much anymore.

The effects of term limits is simple: Reduce the power of the government over the people. These guys that have been in there forever get big political power from the committees they sit on year after year. Term limits easily limits that power.
I'm referring to ALL of them. Term limits doesn't discriminate. Reducing power of the legislature and governor is a good thing. These jobs aren't suppose to be careers, after all.
In politics, power can change the "willingness" of people, whether they like it or not.
