Barely perceptible is more a function of the vehicle's suspension. Even today in such boat like cars such things are barely perceptible.
What is it about 'any speed is fine if you keep right except to pbutt' that you don't understand?
Which is exactly why you don't set UPPER BOUNDS based on your worst performers. Because if you do that, you get a general disregard for vehicle code and people who have an inflated idea of their skills. It also builds a sense of enbreastlement and bad habbits (IE, left lane blocking).
In a republic that is supposed to represent the people, why is the prevailing speed illegal? That should be the question.
Yet you feel that somehow, someone in government has a better idea than the vast majority of people in other areas. If you're not going to trust those that wish to control people with the decisions on what substances you can use, why trust them with what the proper speed limit is?
What the vast majority of the people find reasonable is "no logical basis for making law" ? What sort of tryanny do you want? Some expert from on high telling you how everything must be?
The 85th percentile method is a proven engineering method that is based on real world data. It doesn't use buttumptions to set speed limits, it uses data. Yet, you and the others prefer buttumptions, guess work, feelings, and other pulled-out-of-the-butt methods.
How about this, government decides a vaccine for a disease just feels right, seems like it would work, there's evidence it's end people, but 'common sense' says it should be just fine. The president's friend has lot's of stock in the company that makes the vaccine. It mandates everyone have the vaccine. Are you going trust the buracrats?
That's what you are doing with speed limits. Trusting in the motivations and gut feelings of buracrats.
Conflict of Interest 3170Anomolies exist...? But I think your buttessments might be extrapolated from brief observations of both locations and probably not as accurate as you...
Wouldn't you rather have data that shows it is safe?
(BTW, the vaccine example is based on what's going on with the bird flu)
