You just did. You simply don't realize it.
Your example shows they are.
You like an authoritarian environment where rules are rules because someone said so. That doesn't make one selfish for not obeying nonsense because someone said it's the 'rule'.
Conflict of Interest 3182Baseless buttumption and obviously incorrect. Practically your entire discourse consists of baseless buttumption. If *you* were doing 78 in a 55 the presence of an LEO would have no stimulus on your comfort level...
Merely moving faster than an arbitary number posted on a sign is not selfish. (Notice how jaybird is changing the topic)
Nobody has, your example is how things go with an underposted speed limit. (Note how jaybird continues to change the topic)
Slow != Safe. Which is more of a danger jaybird? The person who drives 35mph in a 75mph flow with a 55mph speed limit and comes across 3 lanes and cuts you off or the driver who pbuttes you swiftly and cleanly on your left driving 76mph?
Speed limits are upper bounds. Not averages. Not recommendations. Not lowest skill level indicators, they are supposed to be upper bounds. Hence the term LIMIT.
Conflict of Interest 3181No, you simply don't understand what you are trying to explain, which makes it impossible for you...
The people have voted with their right foot. But here you show your authoritarian bent, where you'll force everyone to obey whatever nonsense those on high have decided upon.
One day you'll be sending people off to the camps because the law is the law and the law says they go to the camps.
