Alan, it's a pleasure to meet you.
Should cops arm their Glock 9mm pistols with hollow points so they can "wing" a mentally disturbed person, or should they continue with the status quo? At least there wouldn't be any damage to the people behind him.
I'm in can.politics, but perhaps I should visit alt.true-crime!
I don't know if you saw the OTHER episode that week, having to do with a big protest by farmers when all of a sudden a Vietnamese guy showed up in a van and set himself on fire, but once again the Toronto cops used a car in an act of crime prevention!
Everyone was afraid that the crazy Vietnamese guy was pulling an Oklamoma City planting. They had no idea what was in the van. It could have been full of all the necessary contents to have a major blast.
That's not one they keep on the Pulse 24 website because a guy pouring gasoline on himself and lighting a match isn't palatable.
Here's the interview with the firefighters who saved his butt.
It's called "See unedited video of firefighters on Wednesday's rescue of the man who immolated himself at Queen's Park."
