Unfortunately, while donquijote is basically a nutbar on these topics and loves to troll for this crap, your perceptions are just as biased and self-serving as his. It's like watching the Democrats and the Republicans both claim that the media is biased in the other's favor.
Everyone knows that car drivers do the same thing, Scott. You're just repeating myths as though they were facts, and that does not further the conversation in any helpful way.
Depends on where the intersection is, perhaps. I see cars run red lights all the time, dozens of times a day- far more in fact than I see cyclists running red lights. That's the Minneapolis-St. Paul area; in Manhattan the story might be different but I'm just a dumb old hick and I ain't never been to the big city.
As for myself, I run red lights on my bike when there is no option- on-demand lights that don't pick up the bike's presence- which is permitted under the law (the light is considered malfunctioning). Otherwise I don't ever run red lights on my bike. Nor do I swerve unpredictably in front of cars, or do any of the other myriad nefarious things you claim that bicyclists do. None of the dozens of cyclists I know do those things either. I've been riding bikes for, what, 39 years or so. I've had two tangles with cars, both of which happened before the age of 15- one of which was my fault (I ran into it) and one of which wasn't (the driver waved me across the street and then deliberately ran into me when I was halfway across. He thought it was hilariously funny).
