Forget first car. I've got a whole list and it is continuing :) Car 1) Reliant Robin van (on L plates as a trike). Brush painted matt black (advertising sold at 5 pints on a Friday night for as long as it took for the rain to wash the chalk advert off). Triumph spitfire steering wheel, and escort 5 speed gear knob, all seats ripped out and drivers seat replaced with bucket, and harness. Was just at the point of getting 3 wide 12" Viva wheels to improve the handling when on a wet corner, I got it sideways, fishtailed the other way, hooked up, highsided and rolled it.

Car 2) Jump forward 10 years (pbutted test now). Skoda Estelle 120L, multi shade beige. Mountney steering wheel (blueleather) Simoni blue alloy gearknob and blue leather gaitor, quick shift gear lever, blue OMP pedal covers. CD player and updated speakers, high level brake light, Generation 5 Celica front seats and Skoda Rapid rear seats. Gaz shocks, and 40mm lower Yukspeed springs, Mintex pads. K&N, Weber carb, ported exhaust manifold, freeflow Czech system, electric fuel pump and inline filter. Skoda factory alloys with 185-60R13 BF goodrich tourings. Sold to bloke in Oxford who drove it home, and it got there quicker than his cortina.

Car 3)Skoda Favorit Forum. Simoni X3 wheel, Simoni gearknob, rallye pedal covers, leather gaitors for the hbrake-gears. Cobra Monaco seats, Sparco harnesses, CD player, custom kickpods with 5" 3 way pioneers with stealth shelf and Pro plus 7x10's. HP Sporting specials Motorsport struts (lowered 30mm), Fiat fitting 5 spokes and Yoko tyres. Sebring back box, centre box from rest of system removed, Weber conversion, and K&N. Sold to a bloke in York for clbuttic trials, but had to give up due to heart condition. Sold to another club member, who managed to move most fo the decent parts to another Favorit, before it spontaniously succumbed to an electrical fire.

Car 3)Saab 900 T16S. the intercooler, removing the airbox from directly behind it). Bailey recirc dump valve to replace failed bosch one. Lots of blue VAC hose. Gaz Shocks, original lowered factory springs replaced because of age. Avon Z rated tyres Bluapunkt modena CD headunit and uprated kicker speakers original size. Version 1 and 2 of the Car PC. Sold on Ebay to a nice man who had been looking for a solid but scruffy T16S as a light winter project for about 2 years, but couldn't find anything worth saving in his price range.

Car 4) Toyota Celica GT4 ST185. Boost, oil pressure and oil temp gauges in pillar pod (to be fitted). KYB uprated struts, eibach pro springs (30mm lower), TRD top mounts (to be fitted, Akebono ceramic brake pads. Uprated Solid alloy motorsport "Diff cushion" to replace the worn out steel-rubber factory item, and poly bushes for the rear diff carrier (going in Mar 7, 2005). Samco intake and coolant hoses (intake split and coolant hoses replaced with thermostat). Vac hoses replaced to match and because of age. Simota Cone filter, cold air intake, and AFM top hat adaptor. Sard R2D2 "Twin pressure" dump valve and Samco T piece. Cusco strut brace (fitted and insurance notified).

Whiteline Club sport pack (suspension poly bushes and adjustable uprated ARB) and Exhaust Depot 2.5" decat pipe (on order from US arriving hopefully in next 3 weeks).

CarPC version 3, all parts bought, fabrication of the flush screen mount and planning of the stock wiring adaptor conversion in progress.

ST205 gear lever (same as an ST185 quickshift but 1-4 the price) from another GT4 club member.

there are plans for more, but I'll see how that goes. Want to move to 17" wheels, but need to locate a set of Oz Rally Race "Roulette" rims in 17" in a Toyota fitting ET35-39, most 17"'s appear to be in Subaru ET45 which requires spacers. Big fat rallyslag mudflaps, once I get the bodywork (scratches and dings) tidied, and maybe some rally livery style graphics.
