The Sacramento Bee reported this morning on an "accident" which took place at 2:00AM, yesterday. A gold Mercedes stopped by the side of the road, (Intersate 80, west of Madison Avenue) because one of two ladies became sick, due to excessive drinking. A pick up truck, driven by a drunk driver, thought that the Lincoln was in the right lane, and rear ended it, killing the two women Another driver, who had no license, slowed to see what was happening and he was rear-ended by another drunk driver, an 18-year old woman.
Last week a Rocklin police officer, once commended for catching the most number of drunk drivers, was putting out cones at the scene of a drunk driver accident, and was run over and end by a drunk driver. Yesterday, a Galt motorcycle officer, returning from his ceremony, rear-ended an SUV which she "apparently did not see." She is expected to recover.
Three people died on US 99 when their Mazda MX3 ran a stop sign and was run over by a Kenworth big rig.
