At a ROSPA conference recently I saw a video reconstruction of a an estate car pushing a small car into a tree at 40 mph. They showed you in slow motion how the car got in it's final position. In less than 1-4 of a second the hatchback compressed so that eventually the back wheels were touching the front wheels. They gace you a slow motion commentary of how the human body inside disintegrated as bones were crushed and sprung out of their sockets as the time box folded in on the occuupants. Carefully note what cars govt ministers are driving. They are not in them for speed as they claim, they are in them to prevent their bodies being crushed in a tin sandwich. This is not a joke, and it's certainly not a laughing matter. How valuable is your life to you? If you're a caring responsible person you will drive a large car to protect yourself, your friends and your family. You will also get advanced driving lessons from ROSPA or the IAM to protect yourself and OTHER road users...and you will also take First Aid lessons from The British Red Cross or The St John Ambulance Brigade so you can help your fellow man in a time of danger.
I have done all of that - I read all papers except the Sport & Star - but when you've finished with your copy of Bunty, I'd be happy to have a look at it to see what you find so enthralling.
