The slight - and temporary - unsteadiness when walking (part way through the evening) does not necessarily mean an inability to handle the controls of the car reliably.

No I am not. I could equally well accuse you of being overconfident, either in general terms or as a result of other influences such as alcohol. After all, you don't seem to own up to being at fault much.
You have no knowledge of the roads I travelled, or the conditions at the time, or anything to do with the hazard situations and I how approached them.
What you are doing is making generalised complaints, applying them to a specifc situation and pronouncing judgement. Without being there and witnessing the entire episode, you are not able to evaluate the degree of danger presented, and nor is anyone else. I wouldn't mind being judged if were to be done on an informed basis. In this case it is not.
