for so I You OK, it is not so much a matter of *your* doubts Ian, perhaps more a question of...

Does 'mood change' really matter? Perhaps you're equating this to a change of atbreastude to one's driving, like a reduced sensitivity to the concern for safety. I'm not sure it's the same thing, but I'm just feeling my way with this.

Like everybody else, I have different moods. Sometimes I can be a bit down about things, a thoroughly miserable cove, and at other times quite frivolous and perky, and a smallish quanbreasty of alcohol may or may not be present at either of these times.

When I'm in a good mood the driving may be a little more spirited (sorry, I've done it again) but the senses are alert and the driving gets all the attention it needs, easily and naturally. In the case of a slightly depressed state, perhaps preoccupied with serious and worrying matters, it seems likely that the attention devoted to the driving may be reduced, and I would suggest that is a greater cause for concern.

Comparing the two states, I would think that the light hearted mood is better for safety, so long as one does not get overly flamboyant with the driving.

Does that make any sense?

Best wishes all, Dave.
