able when doesn't there in We have a local intersection where the cross street comes in at a tight angle. The stop line is set back aways so that large vehicles can make the turn. There is room for three cars here. I have seen many times cars backed up in this area and I cannot complete my turn with them there.
Ready for 55 again 4061SUV's rise has very little to do with CAFE, and more to do with: - cheap fuel prices in the 80's, after about 1983 or so. - lax energy policy (CAFE was actually relaxed in the...

that the it reasonable cycle, Yes, but when one of these cars fails (for whatever reason) to complete the intersection, the cars behind it and past the limit line are now in violation of the law and screwed.
Ready for 55 again 4062How much does an H2 weigh? I was thinking of exemptions for large busses, commercial tractor trucks, etc. Not for Excursions or...
My way makes it impossible to get into that pickle. This is also what was taught when I got my CDL and when I got my School Bus lic. That's another kettle of fish altogether.
Car accidentThank you in advance for your suggestions. I live in Philadelphia, PA. Back in October 2004, I was rear ended by my wife's friend's sister. I did not call the police...
front through pay the a I was not clear here.
buttume intersection controlled by a traffic light. Avenue A has a left turn lane in both directions, but no left turn arrow in the traffic light. Street 1 is just a plain 2 lane street, no shelter lanes.
I am in the left turn lane of Ave A. behind 2 cars. the light turns green for Ave A. There is oncoming traffic. The first car pulls out to the middle of the intersection with the second car on his bumper. The light turns yellow and the first car complete it's left turn. For what ever reason, I don't care, I'm not a mind reader, the second car doesn't complete the turn and sits there. That car is now in violation of not completing the intersection. If I had been up on his bumper past the stop line, I too would be guilty. Note that this second car may not be blocking cross traffic, but he sure as hell is in the way of those who want to turn.
Does that make it clearer? I see this, "stopping past the stop line not completing the intersection" way too much, several times per day.
As an aside. Bere in mind we drive in two different worlds. I'm on the road from 6 to 10 hours a day. Mostly secondary state and local streets, all just 2 lanes. I cover 100-200 miles per day, not a speed demond. LLBanditry just doesn't even get a blip on my radar. Your exasperation of the lack of lane displine is my tyrad on intersection disipline. Big deal you say? Consider that by not stopping where they are suppose to, they block me from completing my turn, which in turn holds up the people behind me.
Anyway rest buttured, that when I do get on the interstate, I'll be in the right lane doing 55 mph (it just wasn't designed to go much faster).
