Hi all
I have been driving for too many years and too many miles, I am now fed up never knowing if and when you're going to get home! But I still enjoy the driving, I was considering training as a driving instructor, I realise it won't be easy and will require several months of training. Whilst I obviously believe that I am the best driver on the road, as does everyone else, I suspect, deep down, that over the years I have probably picked up loads of bad habits and will have to almost start again!! I accept all this but would be really interested to hear from any other driving insructors about the job, the only info I have is from the training schools who obviously paint a rosy picture as they want your money!! Is the job as good as they say? Is the money as good as they say? Is there work out there? What are the advantages and disadvantages? I would be particularly interested to hear from recently quallified instructors or people who started the course or job and gave up. I look forward to all your replies and thank you in advance.
