Driving Technique 1711Brimstone do you have a job ? how many. exactly ? see question 1 *marvellous* ! one question answered, several to go. make, model. see question 2 no, I don't...
Far from it - it would much more be an exercise of "active dumbing-down" IMHO.
Generally, I choose my own speed and tend to treat limit signs as indicating hazard density rather than mph. I heel-and-toe. I can't remember the last time that I reversed round a corner - probably on my test! The exagerated glances at the mirrors would be a pain - and a distraction. Like most experienced motorists I probably fit the car into smaller gaps in traffic than the average learner - which might not go down too well. I've completely forgotten the official Highway Code braking-distances - I know from experience what distance I need to stop - and the HC figures are accurate for a 1929 Bentley 3.0, not a modern car. Plus I'm sure that there are many other things that I won't bore you with.
And... buttuming that I had to take it - I'd almost certainly (along with the vast majority of ADIs, according to the President of the ADI buttociation) fail the "hazard perception" test. :-)
