Actually, I regreat making part of that comment now. At least jaybird hasn't resorted to personal attacks, like so many others I have debated this issue with have. Jaybird has been quite civil in his discussion with me. And, it would appear he is actually trying to consider the points I present.
Driving is a Right 2557jaybird Yea, well, at least my opinion is backed up by evidence and reason. It doesn't escape my notice that you no longer attempt to defend your position, nor refute mine. You don't address...
People have been under this Harness of Licensing for so long, they have been conditioned to believe it is entirely right and they have been conditioned to resort to Knee Jerk reactions to anyone who would suggest otherwise. Even I use to believe Licensing was a completely valid thing. Even I use to believe Driving Automobiles, the Transit Ordinarily used for Personal Travel, was not a Right, but was a Privilege. When people, even myself, have been in the Dark for so long, coming out into the light can be quite uncomfortable, even frightening.
Driving is a Right 2555jaybird It doesn't have to say Licensing is Unconsbreastutional, as that is Understood of any...
Automobiles have been around since about 1891. Yet, even before Automobiles became the Transit Ordinarily used for Personal Travel, Licensing was not required. It wasn't until about 1930, around 50 years later, that states began to impose Licensing upon their citizens. And, they did it in a creaping and underhanded manner, such that nobody recognized how these state laws were converting a Right into a Driver's Handbook for Detroit, Michigan would suggest we have the "Right to Drive Right". Yet, in that very same Driver's Handbook, but not until page 60 of 84, they touch on Licensing Requirements.
In the 70 some years since Licensing, State Licensing Laws have woven a mighty web of lies, which take quite some effort to untangle from the minds of citizens. And, when one tries to pull these webs from their minds, all sorts of knee jerk reactions occur. Yet, ever so often, I encounter those, such as Jaybird, who still disbelieve, yet don't resort to the knee jerk reactions. I have to complement him for that, and I respect him for that.
