My insurance does meet the requirements of the RTA - because the car I took out the policy for, is covered for all purposes. Cover for "other cars" is in addition to what the policy mainly covers - ie my car.

A short while back, I had another car (old small-ish hatchback). Both my car, and my wife's car each have respective policies - clearly my car is by merit of my insurance policy, my wife's car, by merit of her insurance policy. For the third car I had, it required an additional policy for 3rd party (actually included fire and theft). Because although technically our policies allowed us to drive this car on the road, nothing was providing cover whilst the car wasn't being driven.

Anyway, enough is enough, I've stated my point, and I honestly couldn't care less, now. Believe what you want to believe, I'm losing the will to live, and the feeling in the end of my toes.
