But there was only one photo - this was a camera van, not a Gatso. The photo showed me in my car at that location (all of which I did not contest), but the time (and, I claim, the speed) stamped on the photo was incorrect. Apparently the cameras in Talevans don't need two pictures - the operator "forms the impression that the car is over the speed limit" presses a button, and the speed reading is instant. so, you were caught speeding on the way to a meeting you were probably late for and couldn't afford or be bothered to engage a decent brief to "get you off" Why don't the "ostentatiously anonymous" merely post under the name "I am a ****", because it appears they are the same thing? GYAC: what's the betting that richard isn't telling the whole truth ? It's over and done with, and I have moved on. when were you convicted of the offence ?

"Offence" in January, convicted in August 2005. Delay being requesting copies of evidence, writing to challenge evidence, various court appearances postponed etc.

What possible reason would I have to lie about it now?

possibly the same reason you might have had at the time of the offence ?
