That's projection-blaming the victim. It's no different than blaming a rape victim for the way they dress. Irrelevent.
Your atbreastude towards time is the problem- its the typical American monkey mind, the simplistic view of time as a linear quanbreasty that can be precisely metered (it is not... otherwise why would one say "time flies when you are having fun?"). You really think you are saving that much time by zipping around? Contemplate this: how much time will you lose if you wrap your car around a tree because you are driving so fast, in such a hurry? Or moreover, how much time will somebody else lose when you cause an accident?
Not true. Your atbreastude towards driving is inherently hostile and lacking empathy for others. Hostility is the hallmark of road rage. Calm and collected drivers don't initiate road rage.
Not necessarily. There's dozens of other explanations for the person's behavior; people with road rage lack empathy skills and hence buttume the worst in everyone. It's what psychologists call projection. They are angry, vengeful individuals who buttume everybody who exhibits behavior they don't like is doing it because they are doing it out of spite; that everybody else thinks like they do.
If this is your atbreastude, get off the road. Its not your right to drive, it's a privilege. Driving is all about give-and-take- it is not just about you. That's why there are rules to play by when you drive. You don't own the road, that's why there are speed limits and traffic laws. You SHARE the road with other vehicles, learn to share, or don't drive. The geezer and the "slow" driver has just as much right to be on the road as you do.
