The sloth scott is talking about are the same people who block my progress on a bicycle. They are the same drivers that see you coming down the road, pull out in front of you slowly, then proceed at their slow pace. Why couldn't they have waited to pull out so you didn't have to brake to avoid hitting them? When I'm going slow, I wait and pull out behind people.
You are behind a bicycle rider doing 15 in a 50mph zone. There are no safety hazards. He is in the middle of the lane and refuses to allow you to pbutt. Who's the cause of potentional road rage?
It all boils down to the sloth not caring that there is anyone else on the road. There isn't any projection going on. If I didn't care about anyone else on the road, I would ride my bicycle down the middle of the left lane, 20+mph slower than the speed of traffic. Essentially, that's what the sloth drivers are doing.
Here's an excerise for you. Replace each sloth driver with a slow moving bicyclist. People who preach this infinite tolerance suddenly won't be tolerant. Those who preach infinite tolerance are the ones who cause the problems, they need people to be tolerant of them instead of just not interfering. Nobody needs to tolerate me because I do my best not to interfere.
