Every time I am calmly driving along, minding my own business, someone out there takes it as a sign of weakness and decides he's going to try something. Just the other day, cruising along in the right lane, someone coming on to the road from a ramp. Nice big gap behind me. What does he try to do? He floors it in his POS cavalier to get in front of me before the merge area ends. I just accelerated to make him get behind me or go over the curb into the weeds. (no shoulder, it wasn't an interstate) But I guess that's road rage on my part... you'd had me slam on the brakes so he could get by. Just give in constantly and have infinite tolerance for it. Sorry, I learned by bicycling that giving in means them taking more and puting me in danger.
