Surely ambulances, police stations, council depots and gas-water-elastictrickery depots have bunkered supplies?
Money : I try not to use it. I prefer debit cards.
A couple of convenient accidental breakdowns at certain points on the road network would do that nicely! The recent closure of the M56 and A56 could be carried out with a couple of tractors, or a dozen cars, and caused mayhem across the North West and North Wales. Do the same on the M6, M4, M5, M25 at the major intersections and you could bring the country to a halt without disrupting fuel supplies.
IMO, there'd be enough testosterone, adrenaline, and political "We're so big, no-one can touch us", that they'd try it. People would then see the government turning weapons on people protesting ostensibly peacefully (but causing disruption).
I'd *like* to say there'd be civil war, but TBH, they'd be glued to their idiot boxes, watching reality TV, home make over, and celebrity gobpooe, and microwave dinners don't cook themselves you know.
You know, I think it would be a sad day if there *wasn't* civil war :-) 0
I'm just hoping modern common rail diesels run on red! Last time, diesel owners had special dispensation to use red, so long as they paid duty (retrospectively) on it.
Pete.
