You are just doing so well. I am so proud and happy for you. If I were single, I would jump at this. Leaving a husband though is kind of tough. I don't think marriages do well with long abcenses due to computers. I don't know if you know, but I lived with my college sweet heart for about eleven years. He had a job as an engineer for a biomedical company . He moved up North with me after we graduated. He commuted everyday. He did this for two years; and wanted to leave the area. He was from another city; and hated this. So he got a transfer ; and I quit my job since he made the big bucks! Anyway, when we moved here he had to travel all week most of the time. He worked on computers that hospitals use for blood tests etc. His area was huge. So, he was gone all week. I hated it and so did he. It tore us apart. So don't have any desire to live a life apart. At least with jobs that are of reasonable length, there is a light at the end of the tunnel! In your case, I think she won't leave because of others. Things there just have you locked in. I don't think you would ever consider moving permanently. I'll bet you wanted once to move south. Don't know what will be. But, I guarantee as long as you are living there nothing will budge.
