is this the first f***ing Time Ever that there was a hurricane ?? it sure as hell is the first time a hurricane caused gasoline to go up 53 cents per gallon OVERNIGHT !!
and don't tell me there's nothing the politicians can do, THERE IS PLENTY they can do, if they weren't in the back pocket of Texas oil companies:
1. open up the Strategic Reserve -- if this isn't a crisis, what the f*** is ?? 2. have W get on TV and beseech those idiots on the commodities exchanges to stop bidding up the prices based on S P E C U L A T I O N. Supply is NOT the problem, even the f***ing arabs are saying this, and are pledging more oil production. 3. call a Congressional enquiry as to why the Federal Trade Commission has OK'd 28 of 31 oil company mergers in the last 4 years WITH NO RESTRICTIONS. Those mergers allowed for the CLOSING OF REFINERIES to boost already record-breaking profit margins. Collusion anyone ?
