Using the gearbox causes wear right? Every gearchange causes wear right? It doesn't matter how small that amount of wear is, the wear...

None of which changes the misrepresentations that you made in your original post.

RE: 80mph limit on Mways backed by AA 5575
Quote: If very few cars could exceed 70mph then what was the point of the limit? Some could have exceeded it, but they could've just overtaken. If the limit was...

You clearly haven't listened to anything that has been said to you because you still claim that the roadcraft approach is inflexible no matter how many times it has been pointed out that it is anything but. You dismiss it so readily yet you have never studied it, never learned it and never applied it. This against acknowledged experts from many fields who have studied all forms of driving and conclude that the roadcraft approach is the safest and most appropriate system in existence. This against the lifetimes of experience of traffic officers who apply it in all circumstances, every day. You, a man who seems proud of the fact he has never had a driving lesson in his life and is entirely self-taught, buttert that you know better, that your approach is better. I don't see the gospel according to Bloomfield being taught in police driving schools, do you? Why is that? The fact that roadcraft is *the* standard teaching for all police drivers who are the very people who MUST be trained to the highest possible standards for high speed driving, in traffic, on public roads gives it *far* more credibility than all your years of self-taught "experience".

You initimated in a previous post that you answered emergency calls and I asked if you were response trained (obviously not if you've never had a driving lesson) and by whom. You have yet to answer. Why is that? Just who do you answer emergency calls for and who trained you?
